Associate Manufacturing Engineer – Cardiac Rhythm Management

About the role

The Associate Manufacturing Engineer supports the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) manufacturing line in Arecibo, PR. This role works closely with line supervisors, quality engineers, and operators to ensure safety, quality, output, and yield of the assigned line.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain line output, safety, yield and quality while identifying product defects and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with QC Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Quality Engineer and Operations to triage line situations, contain non‑conformances and generate engineering change requests.
• Provide engineering fixes such as tooling and manufacturing aids from concept to implementation.
• Support maintenance technicians, review work orders, and perform product impact analysis for equipment releases.
• Lead root‑cause analysis for basic manufacturing events using DMAIC and A3 methods.

Required profile

• B.S. in an engineering discipline.
• Basic knowledge of applicable US and non‑US regulations.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to interact effectively with all employee levels and work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Basic statistics knowledge.
• Understanding of manufacturing and process engineering principles.
• Familiarity with DMAIC, A3 problem‑solving, and CAPA processes.
