B2B Major Account Sales Executive

About the role

The B2B Major Account Sales Executive will drive broadband product sales to major accounts, hotels, and government entities in Puerto Rico. The role combines face‑to‑face selling, cold calling, telemarketing and door‑to‑door canvassing to achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of major accounts, meeting broadband sales objectives and reporting progress to the Sales Manager.
• Identify and overcome obstacles in closing agreements, crafting tailored telecommunications solutions and sales plans for each prospect.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for medium and large prospects, engaging Business Sales Engineers for technical support.
• Generate new leads through cold calling, canvassing, networking and referrals, and schedule appointments with prospective customers.
• Negotiate contracts, secure signatures and deposits, and ensure accurate order submission following established sales processes.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with existing customers, monitor service levels, resolve issues and report potential service failures to senior management.
• Track and report sales activities, prospects and territory coverage on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing.
• 2‑5 years of direct B2B selling experience, preferably in broadband or telecom services.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of internet services, cable, Nodal and broadband products.
• High self‑motivation, excellent closing skills and ability to work in a multitasking, negotiation‑heavy environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• In‑depth knowledge of broadband products and related telecommunications services.
