Bar Attendant – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a Bar Attendant to join the team at the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel, a historic luxury resort in San Juan. The role involves delivering high‑quality beverage service in a high‑end hospitality environment while creating memorable experiences for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, take and serve drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and present a variety of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages following standardized recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including countertops, equipment, and glassware.
• Restock inventory, process payments, and keep accurate cash register records.
• Secure liquor and complete closing duties at the end of each shift.
• Collaborate with other bar staff and hotel team members to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Bar Attendant or similar role in a high‑end hospitality setting.
• Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol or equivalent (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand and walk for extended periods, and work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Beverage preparation and cocktail recipe knowledge.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (preferred).
