Community Impact Storytelling VISTA (2026-2027)

About the role

Ponce Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc. (PNHS) is a nonprofit focused on housing stability, financial well‑being, and economic opportunity across southern and central Puerto Rico. As the organization expands its programs, it needs stronger systems for documenting and communicating impact. The 2026‑2027 VISTA project will build PNHS’s capacity to systematically capture outcomes, participant experiences, and community perspectives, turning them into compelling impact narratives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and pilot sustainable tools, processes, and resources for impact storytelling and documentation.
• Collaborate with program staff to identify outcomes, participant experiences, community perspectives, and lessons learned.
• Create processes for collecting and organizing written, photographic, video, and multimedia impact content.
• Establish a centralized repository for stories, testimonials, photos, videos, program outcomes, and lessons learned.
• Design storytelling templates, guidelines, and sample impact resources for reports, proposals, presentations, and partnerships.
• Document procedures and develop sustainable practices for continued use after the VISTA term.

Required profile

• College graduate (any discipline).
• Minimum age of 18 years.
