Coordinador de exportaciones

About the role

This is a full‑time on‑site position in the Export Department located in Carolina, PR. The Export Coordinator will act as the primary liaison with clients, partners, ocean carriers and airlines, delivering exceptional customer service while managing pharmaceutical and temperature‑sensitive shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the entire export process from order receipt to shipment, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical and temperature‑controlled cargo requirements.
• Prepare, review and validate export documentation in line with international shipping regulations, GDP and IATA guidelines.
• Work closely with warehouse staff to guarantee proper handling, storage and temperature integrity of shipments.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage shipments, maintaining accurate records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and AS400.
• Oversee picking and packing activities, perform basic math calculations for inventory control, and operate forklifts for loading and unloading as needed.
• Communicate shipment status, compliance issues and special handling needs with freight forwarders, customs brokers and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in export operations, preferably within pharmaceutical or temperature‑controlled logistics.
• Strong knowledge of ocean and air export regulations, including GDP and cold‑chain standards.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with RF scanners for inventory tracking.
• Forklift operation certification.
• Hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) and AS400 software.
• Familiarity with logistics and export management tools.
