Educational Facilitator – $100,000/year

About the role

Alpha School’s 2‑Hour Learning model lets K‑8 students master a full day of academics in two hours using adaptive apps. As an Educational Facilitator you will coach students on life‑skills that the software cannot teach, such as public speaking, focus, teamwork and feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Coach K‑8 students one‑on‑one and in small groups, using Coachbot analytics to identify and resolve learning obstacles.
• Apply Alpha’s motivation framework—including leaderboards, incentives and weekly goal‑setting—to keep every student advancing.
• Run hour‑long, project‑based workshops on public speaking, focus, teamwork and giving/receiving feedback.
• Administer Test2Pass mastery assessments and ensure students demonstrate true competency before progressing.
• Build high‑trust relationships so accountability feels motivating rather than punitive.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience working directly with K‑8 students through teaching, tutoring, youth programs, camps or sports coaching.
• Evidence of high personal achievement (academic, athletic or professional).
• Ability to engage groups of K‑8 students with energetic, interactive workshops.
• Legal right to work in the United States or Puerto Rico without visa sponsorship.
