Educational Facilitator (K‑8) – $100k/year

About the role

Alpha School is looking for an Educational Facilitator to coach K‑8 students on a fast‑paced, adaptive learning model. Working onsite in Dorado, Puerto Rico, you will combine data‑driven coaching with interactive life‑skills workshops to help every student achieve 100 % of their goals.

Key responsibilities

• Coach students one‑on‑one and in small groups using Coachbot analytics and adaptive learning dashboards.
• Apply Alpha’s motivation framework (leaderboards, incentives, weekly goal‑setting) to keep learners progressing.
• Design and lead hour‑long, project‑based workshops on public speaking, focus, teamwork and feedback.
• Administer Test2Pass mastery assessments and ensure students demonstrate full competency before advancing.
• Build high‑trust relationships so accountability feels motivating.

Required profile

• Willing to work onsite at Alpha’s Dorado campus.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• 3 + years of hands‑on experience with K‑8 students in teaching, tutoring, youth programs or sports coaching.
• Evidence of high personal achievement (academic, athletic or professional).
• Strong ability to motivate young people toward ambitious goals.
• Legal right to work in the United States or Puerto Rico without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Familiarity with adaptive learning platforms such as Khan Academy, IXL and DreamBox.
• Experience using Coachbot analytics and dashboards.
