Full-Stack AI Engineer

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Full-Stack AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI‑powered web applications. The position is hybrid, requiring an average of two days per week in the San Juan office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead backend development using Python/Django and frontend development with React.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain AI/ML features such as ML models, NLP pipelines, and AI APIs for production use.
• Integrate generative AI, chatbot frameworks, and recommender systems into cloud‑native applications.
• Design REST APIs, manage PostgreSQL schemas, and build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git, and Artifactory.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes, collaborating with DevOps and data engineering teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack development experience with Python (Django) and React.
• 2+ years of hands‑on AI/ML development, including generative AI, NLP, and LLM integration.
• Strong understanding of machine‑learning fundamentals and algorithm implementation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud) and marketplace product validation.
