Grants Consultant

About the role

The Grants Consultant will work on‑site in San Juan, supporting organizations that manage federal grant programs. The role involves reviewing program requirements, assisting with grant administration, and monitoring performance to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review federal grant program requirements and provide guidance on compliance.
• Assist clients with grant administration tasks, including documentation and reporting.
• Monitor grant and program performance, preparing clear reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with client teams to develop strategic recommendations for improving grant management processes.

Required profile

• Strong grant administration experience with federal and local funding programs; experience with FEMA, CDBG‑DR or similar grants preferred.
• Analytical ability to assess grant documentation, program data, compliance requirements and performance metrics.
• Consulting and project‑management skills to advise clients, coordinate multiple grants, and manage timelines and deliverables.
• Knowledge of 2 CFR 200 and other relevant federal regulatory frameworks.
