Principal Product Manager – Certifications PLM

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own the security strategy and compliance posture for its networking product portfolio, including routers, switches, firewalls and management solutions. The role is hybrid, requiring on‑site presence two days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain a product security roadmap aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Champion Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) processes, security gates, and vulnerability governance across product development.
• Lead cross‑functional security readiness reviews and represent product security status to leadership and customers.
• Assess product security risks, drive remediation, and support incident response and vulnerability disclosure.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for customers, partners and government stakeholders, providing security capabilities and compliance artifacts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security or related field.
• 10+ years of product line management, cybersecurity or compliance experience.
• Strong understanding of networking technologies (routing, switching, security, cloud networking).
• Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and influencing product strategy.

Required skills

• Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices
• SAST, SCAS, SBOM generation, code signing, threat modelling, vulnerability remediation
• Knowledge of NIST frameworks, Zero Trust architectures, Secure Software Development Framework (SSDF)
• Software supply‑chain security
• Familiarity with Junos OS, networking platforms or security appliances
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM
