Quality Control Group Leader (Turno Nocturno)

About the role

Supervise night‑shift inspection of incoming goods, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and proper calibration of equipment. Lead the Receiving Inspection team, drive continuous improvement and manage cost‑effective processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise night‑shift inspection of incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prioritize material for inspection and manage on‑hold items.
• Maintain and verify calibration records and ensure equipment calibration is performed on schedule.
• Recruit, interview, and develop Receiving Inspection staff, including training and succession planning.
• Set measurable goals, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
• Control costs by streamlining processes and monitoring departmental cost trends.

Required profile

• Strong quantitative skills – ability to calculate discounts, percentages, ratios and interpret graphs.
• Proficiency with basic algebra, geometry and common‑sense problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting information to managers and customers.
• Experience using Windows‑based PC applications and Jabil’s internal software tools.
• Ability to read and understand visual aids, simple instructions and write basic correspondence.

Required skills
