Acquisition & Commercial Card Manager

About the role

The Acquisition & Commercial Credit Card Manager leads the development and execution of acquisition strategies for consumer lending products—including credit cards and personal loans—and for commercial credit cards across traditional and omnichannel channels. The role drives portfolio growth, lifecycle optimization, and profitability while ensuring alignment with risk and customer experience objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to meet acquisition goals and ROI targets across traditional channels.
• Identify high‑potential market segments, maximize product placement, and manage cost‑per‑new‑client budgets.
• Collaborate with multiple internal departments, business units, and external vendors to secure approvals and launch innovative solutions.
• Lead commercial credit card acquisition, monitor usage, retention, and profitability, and adjust offerings based on market trends.
• Own the acquisition funnel, track metrics, and provide assumptions for budgeting and stakeholder communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, IT/Systems, or Accounting; Master’s preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in sales, marketing, product or portfolio management within banking or financial services.
• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English with strong written and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams, influence stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with banking systems and related technology platforms.
