Compliance Manager

About the role

The Compliance Manager will lead the client‑facing compliance department of FV Bank in San Juan. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on process management, performance oversight and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee onboarding, periodic reviews and other client‑facing compliance activities.
• Manage process and performance management across the compliance team.
• Coordinate cross‑functional reporting and collaboration with other departments.
• Develop, implement and maintain compliance policies, procedures and controls.
• Ensure adherence to OCIF regulations, AML, KYC and sanctions requirements.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of banking regulations, OCIF rules, AML, KYC and sanctions frameworks.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining compliance policies and controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities in a regulated environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including report preparation and training delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business or related field; certifications such as CAMS or CRCM are a plus; fluency in English required, Spanish beneficial.
