Demand Planner (Business Planning Specialist)

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is hiring a Demand Planner in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, working in a hybrid setup with about two days per week in an HPE office. The role evaluates business plans to ensure they are operationally executable against strategic objectives, leads short-term business plans (typically under two years) and works with cross-functional teams to build data-driven models.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex data and business analyses to develop business plans and recommend actions.
• Build advanced statistical and financial models to forecast business performance and coach others on model development.
• Define metrics to measure performance and set up processes to close performance gaps.
• Manage market research projects and produce synthesized intelligence reports.
• Lead cross-functional teams across business planning activities and partner with business leaders to identify opportunities.
• Develop go-forward recommendations based on risks and returns, and propose new analytical tools and methods.

Required profile

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business/Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering or an equivalent.
• APICS or IBF certification is beneficial; supply chain certification is a plus.
• Typically 4-6 years of experience in supply chain strategy, planning, operations, finance or a related field.
• Advanced English, strong communication skills, and strong project management and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel and prior experience with ERP planning systems.
• Knowledge of research methodology and statistical and financial modelling.
• Ability to analyse business problems with Excel, Access, statistical analysis and financial modelling.
