Educational Facilitator – K‑8 Cohort Coach

About the role

Alpha School is seeking an on‑site Educational Facilitator for its Dorado, Puerto Rico campus. You will guide K‑8 students through a two‑hour learning model, using adaptive apps and hands‑on workshops to develop both academic and life‑skill mastery.

Key responsibilities

• Coach students one‑on‑one and in small groups, using Coachbot analytics to identify and resolve learning obstacles.
• Deliver hour‑long, interactive workshops on public speaking, focus, teamwork, and feedback.
• Administer Test2Pass assessments and ensure students demonstrate mastery before advancing.
• Maintain high accountability while building trust and motivation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of direct experience with K‑8 learners in teaching, tutoring, youth programs, camps, or sports coaching.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Legal right to work in the United States or Puerto Rico without sponsorship.
• Evidence of high personal achievement and ability to motivate ambitious goals.

Required skills

• Experience with adaptive or app‑based learning platforms (e.g., Khan Academy, IXL, DreamBox) – optional but preferred.
• Fluency in English; Spanish fluency is a plus for community rapport.
