GCM Project Management (Supply Chain)

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring for a GCM Project Management position in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, with a hybrid arrangement of about two days per week in an HPE office. The role covers planning, scheduling and coordination of demand and supply management, business processes and product/service delivery, and works with cross-functional teams to improve processes, control costs and adapt to regulatory and business changes. It is an expert-level position in the Supply Chain & Operations job family.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex supply chain processes such as supplier selection, onboarding, negotiation, costing, contract management and order management.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and lead recommendations for management.
• Work with Commodity Management and Manufacturing Operations to define requirements and document them.
• Analyze market trends, pricing strategies and supplier performance, and run demand-supply matching.
• Manage sourcing projects, define and review performance metrics, and lead regional and global planning teams.
• Document processes to support TL9K audits and lead change management, training and user adoption for sourcing systems.
• Lead sourcing systems strategy and deployment across platforms such as SAP, Ariba, Smart Contracts and supplier portals, including UAT and deployment readiness.
• Support M&A integrations, mergers and business harmonization, and establish governance for supplier, contract and master data.
• Manage strategic sourcing programs, roadmaps, executive reporting and benefits realization.
• Drive advanced analytics, AI/ML, predictive modeling and intelligent automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Typically 6-10 years of experience in a supply chain function, with a solid understanding of supply chain and product costing.
• Demonstrated ability in a data or business analyst role.
• First university degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Operations, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or Business Management; advanced degree preferred.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship management skills, with mastery of English and the local language.

Required skills

• Data mining, SQL, Business Objects, Agile, SAP and Oracle preferred.
• Business intelligence and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), statistical analysis and financial modeling.
• Project management, business process design and re-engineering, systems integration and testing, program and portfolio management.
