Manufacturing Operations Manager

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for a Manufacturing Operations Manager based in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, to oversee the delivery and quality of ODM and contract manufacture partners. The role is hybrid, with about two days per week in an HPE office, and requires full-time presence at the HPE Aguadilla facility with roughly 30% travel. It reports administratively to the Manufacturing Operations Director and functionally to the Business Manager and Supply Chain Manager in the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary interface for ODM/CM partners in Mexico (Guadalajara, Monterrey, Juarez, etc.) and escalate material, quality and engineering issues.
• Work with Supply Planning, Supply Chain, GCM, GMM, Logistics and RMA teams, and liaise with HPE Tech Operations and Supplier Quality.
• Help develop and run the build plan with Ops Planning to support revenue shipments and regional hub deliveries.
• Interface with the NPI team to ensure new products move smoothly to production, and facilitate returns and repairs of internal products.
• Maintain ODM/CM data, including ATP feeds and supply commitments, and track OCOGS with the manufacturing partner.
• Ensure ECOs, MCOs and deviations are implemented, assign effective dates and report financial impact.
• Support key customers and internal projects, and work with partners so material orders follow MRP signals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; electronics or mechanical engineering preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in the electronics industry, in roles such as project management or supply chain management.
• Excellent English, spoken and written; Mandarin is a plus.
• Stationed in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, working with ODM/CM factories in Mexico; flexible hours and pressure tolerance required.
