Network Demand Planner

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Network Demand Planner in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week spent in an HPE office. It defines, manages and evaluates business plans, develops demand forecasts and data-driven models, and works with cross-functional teams to optimise resources and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead demand planning, business analysis and forecasting activities, and build and maintain complex analytical, statistical and financial models.
• Develop, maintain and analyse demand forecasts using planning systems, historical data, business trends and statistical models.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure forecasting accuracy, planning effectiveness and business performance.
• Analyse large datasets to identify demand trends, operational gaps, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations and other stakeholders to align forecasts with business objectives.
• Prepare and present forecasting reports and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements, automation opportunities and advanced analytical methods, and mentor less experienced team members.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (e.g. MBA) or equivalent education and experience.
• Typically 6-10 years of experience in demand planning, business planning, strategy, operations, finance or a related field.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with planning systems and tools for demand forecasting.
• Advanced written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of demand planning processes, forecasting methodologies and business planning principles.
• Extensive experience with planning systems for demand forecasts and business plans.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation and analytical modelling.
• Statistical analysis, forecasting techniques and financial modelling.
