About the role
This hybrid position at Hewlett Packard Enterprise supports networking products through customer‑specific testing for releases, products, and solutions. The role requires deep expertise in networking fundamentals and hands‑on experience with both manual and automated testing of large‑scale solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design limited enhancements, updates, and programming changes for networking subsystems.
- Develop and execute test plans, protocols, and documentation, identifying and debugging issues.
- Collaborate with internal and outsourced development partners on project status and issue resolution.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics, Electrical or equivalent.
- 4‑6 years of networking experience, including work with internet protocols such as TCP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6.
Required skills
- Networking protocols: BGP, OSPF, ISIS, ARP, VLANs, MPLS, L3VPN, MC‑LAG, LACP, L2VPN, VPLS, Multicast, NGMVPN, EVPN‑VXLAN, GRE, IPSec, NAT, HTTP, NetConf.
- Automation and scripting: Python, Pytest, Go or similar languages.
- Use of test equipment: Spirent, Ixia, including automation.
