Principal Project Manager

About the role

CooperVision is seeking a Principal Project Manager to lead high‑impact, cross‑functional initiatives that support our strategic vision. This full‑time, onsite position in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, will drive project execution, vendor collaboration, and stakeholder alignment across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced leadership, planning, and coordination for complex projects and programs.
• Define and govern scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks.
• Develop strategic vendor partnerships in collaboration with Global Sourcing.
• Act as primary liaison between senior management, sponsors, and stakeholders.
• Partner with regulatory and QA teams to ensure full compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor team members and foster a high‑performance culture.
• Maintain long‑term customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and business alignment.
• Elevate project‑management maturity by promoting best practices and PMO tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, cross‑functional projects in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
• Strong vendor‑management and stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
• Ability to align project outcomes with long‑term corporate strategy.
