Senior Account Executive

About the role

The Senior Account Executive acts as the primary liaison between clients and the company, overseeing group renewals and service delivery across Puerto Rico. This role combines client relationship management, coordination with internal departments, and compliance with health‑insurance regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance to renew assigned groups and develop renewal proposals.
• Address, follow‑up, and resolve service issues reported by customers or producers.
• Conduct client visits to ensure service quality, document agreements, and support group renewal efforts.
• Coordinate delivery of cards, directories, and other materials to clients and producers.
• Prepare and present analytical reports on performance trends for Puerto Rico and the United States.
• Manage HIPAA‑related documentation, contract development, and certification compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Health Services Administration, or related field (or Associate’s degree with five years experience).
• At least three years of customer service or account management experience in the healthcare insurance industry.
• Valid driver’s license for Puerto Rico and either a Life & Disability Insurance Agent License or a Health Services License (or commitment to obtain within two attempts).
• Advanced proficiency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal) and a reliable vehicle for travel.
