Senior Demand Planner

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Senior Demand Planner in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week spent in an HPE office. The position sits within business planning and involves evaluating business plans, forecasting performance and partnering with sales, business and finance to produce an optimal plan.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate multiple business plans to ensure they are operationally executable against strategic objectives, and lead and partner with cross-functional teams to develop short-term (typically under two years) plans.
• Set business metrics, evaluate actual performance and recommend to business leaders on target achievement.
• Develop data-driven analyses to optimize resources and turn business plans into financial value.
• Work with Sales, Business and Finance to produce an optimal plan.
• Lead complex data and business analyses, build statistical and financial models to forecast performance, and coach others on model development.
• Establish metrics to measure performance and set up processes for identifying and closing performance gaps.
• Manage market research projects and produce synthesized intelligence reports.
• Partner with business leaders to develop plans, identify new opportunities and base recommendations on risks and returns.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Business/Data Analytics, Finance or Economics, Industrial Engineering (e.g. MBA) or equivalent.
• APICS or IBF certification desired.
• Typically 10-15 years of experience in supply chain strategy, planning, operations, finance or a related area.
• Advanced English, strong verbal and written communication, and excellent analytical and data manipulation skills.
• Strong project management, leadership, relationship management and time-management skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of KPIs for demand, supply and inventory planning.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and significant experience with ERP planning systems.
• Research methodology and financial modeling.
