Transparency Compliance Analyst

About the role

The Transparency Compliance Analyst monitors and reconciles transactions to ensure data accuracy and compliance with the Sunshine Act, AbbVie’s OPPF, and related policies. The role also oversees the close‑out of activities, guaranteeing financial and transparency accuracy for events required by federal and state reporting regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Support compliance with US laws and AbbVie policies for interactions with healthcare providers, organizations, and patients.
• Ensure correct reporting of all Transfers of Value (TOV) for Puerto Rico activity and assist with HCP dispute resolutions.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual transparency reporting deadlines, conducting weekly data scrubbing for system submissions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Sunshine Act requirements and assess data quality issues.
• Act as Special Category Approver in SAP for Sunshine Act‑related transactions and provide audit documentation.
• Support implementation of transparency monitoring policies, training, and annual certification processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting/financial analysis experience, preferably in pharmaceutical transparency reconciliations using SAP.
• Extreme attention to detail, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a sense of urgency and ownership.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
