Commercial Partner Manager - Networking

About the role

HPE Networking is seeking a Commercial Partner Manager to lead strategic commercial relationships with global ODM, CM, EMS and JDM manufacturing partners. The role covers supplier strategy, contract negotiations, cost competitiveness, business growth, operational performance and long-term partnership development across Campus, Branch, Data Center and AI Infrastructure products. It is a hybrid position with about two days per week spent in an HPE office.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary commercial interface with assigned manufacturing partners.
• Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, business awards, engineering services and strategic initiatives.
• Drive supplier performance through business reviews, scorecards and executive engagement.
• Own product cost management, cost reduction programs and value engineering.
• Support capacity planning, supply continuity, risk mitigation and manufacturing readiness.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Procurement and Finance to resolve business and operational challenges.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, technology roadmaps and investment strategies.
• Support supplier selection, RFQs and strategic sourcing for next-generation networking and AI infrastructure products.
• Deliver executive-level business reviews and recommendations based on financial, operational and market analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Operations or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Typically 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Commercial Management or Partner Management.
• Proven experience managing ODM, CM, EMS or JDM manufacturing partners.
• Experience working with global manufacturing partners in the networking, technology or electronics industry.
• Mastery of English and the local language.
