Department Supervisor – Retail Store

About the role

As a Department Supervisor you will support sales and profit goals by delivering the best customer experience in the department and across the store. You will ensure compliance with legal requirements and H&M standards while leading a team of associates.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the omni‑channel customer experience, maintain visual and commercial standards, and promote the Hello Member loyalty app.
• Monitor department performance, identify commercial opportunities and work with the Department Manager on actions.
• Oversee fitting‑room and checkout routines, including transactions, returns and exchanges.
• Maintain a clean sales floor, stockroom and back‑of‑house areas, and ensure proper stock levels and price signage.
• Support visual merchandising, in‑store tech services (In‑store Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store) and overall store opening and closing procedures.

Required profile

• Ambitious emerging leader with strong communication and analytical abilities.
• Motivated by performance, comfortable working with numbers and statistics, and focused on customer centricity.
• Ability to give and receive feedback, inspire teammates and uphold legal and procedural standards.
