Heating Air Conditioning Technician

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Heating Air Conditioning Technician position is based in Dorado, Puerto Rico. The technician installs, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems for both residential and commercial clients, ensuring comfort and efficiency of facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose system issues and perform corrective repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, filter changes, cleaning, and system tuning.
• Respond to service calls, document work performed, and follow safety and environmental regulations.
• Communicate clearly with clients and team members, use company tools responsibly, and support service quality standards.

Required profile

• Strong troubleshooting skills for HVAC systems.
• Plumbing skills related to HVAC installations, condensate lines, and system connections.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, including inspections and system tuning.
• Basic electrical diagnostics for motors, wiring, controls, and panels.
• EPA‑related knowledge or certification for handling refrigerants.
• Relevant technical training or certification in HVAC, mechanical, or electrical fields.
• Experience with residential and/or commercial HVAC systems (split units, central systems, heat pumps).
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and work orders while maintaining accurate service records.
• Commitment to safety practices, reliable transportation, and willingness to work in varying environmental conditions.
