Information Technology Sales Solutions Consultant

About the role

The Information Technology Sales Solutions Consultant designs and delivers IT‑related system proposals, prepares bidding documentation, and creates quotations that match client budgets and project scopes. The role requires strong technical knowledge and excellent communication to ensure solutions meet client needs efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and gather technical information at client facilities.
• Design One‑Line and Layout diagrams based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and strategic vendors to develop system designs.
• Request, track, and consolidate vendor quotes; prepare and update Bills of Materials.
• Program and test prototypes of designed solutions.
• Deliver technical training to end users and system administrators.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation and client data in the CRM system.
• Assist in reviewing and approving quotes for small to mid‑size projects, considering client specifications and budget constraints.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Audiovisual Technology, Electronic Systems, or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in design, installation, or technical support of AV systems.
• At least 10 years of experience in customer and sales relationships.
• Proven ability to handle client proposals and coordinate with vendors.
• Willingness to travel within and outside of Puerto Rico.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of networking and IP‑based AV technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Spanish and English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
