Tax Associate

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Tax Associate to join our San Juan office. The role involves preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance, and providing research support for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and Puerto Rico tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships, ensuring adherence to local regulations.
• Advise clients on Puerto Rico incentives such as the Individual Resident Investor and Export Services programs to maximize tax benefits.
• Stay current on changes to Puerto Rico and U.S. tax laws, legislation, and incentives, and communicate relevant updates to clients.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation for tax preparation and consulting.
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment while delivering high‑quality service.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish, with a client‑service focus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
