Amphibious Operations Manager – LATAM

About the role

ConeTec is looking for an Amphibious Operations Manager to lead technical operations across Latin America. The role combines field leadership, project management and hands‑on oversight of amphibious and marine equipment in mining and environmental projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of amphibious units, marine vessels and support machinery, ensuring safety and technical compliance.
• Plan, execute and monitor projects from initiation to completion, managing budgets, schedules and reporting.
• Oversee mobilization and demobilization of equipment in remote or hard‑to‑access sites.
• Coordinate geotechnical and environmental investigations, including CPT, sampling and geophysical instrumentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting and ensure equipment availability.
• Supervise, mentor and train field crews, promoting safe practices and skill development.
• Champion HSE standards, conduct risk assessments, inspections and incident reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of field operations experience in geotechnical, environmental, drilling or mining projects.
• Proven experience operating marine vessels and amphibious equipment.
• Previous supervision of remote field crews.
• Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude.
• Ability to work in challenging field conditions across LATAM.
