Associate Data Analyst (Remote – Puerto Rico)

About the role

Optum, a global health‑care organization, is seeking an Associate Data Analyst to work remotely from Puerto Rico. In this role you will help improve health outcomes by turning structured data into actionable business intelligence insights. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build dashboards, models and visualizations that support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions, including dashboards and data visualizations.
• Perform data extraction, transformation and analysis using SQL and Power BI.
• Interpret results, identify trends, and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Create analytical tools such as segmentation models, decision aids and business case analyses.
• Support additional duties as needed to ensure data quality and insight delivery.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience working with Power BI.
• 3+ years of experience writing SQL queries.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and work independently.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
