Business Development Representative

About the role

The Business Development Representative will expand service lines by building and maintaining referral relationships with physicians, hospital discharge planners, social workers and other key non‑physician sources. This role focuses on generating new referral sources, managing leads, and ensuring a smooth admission process for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with hospital discharge planners, social workers, case managers and physicians to generate referral sources.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key referral partners and identify growth opportunities.
• Manage leads from referral sources, coordinate admissions, and ensure appropriate resources are allocated.
• Travel within the community to schedule meetings, develop contacts, and document referrals in the contact management system.
• Organize events and educational forums to showcase programs and attract new referral sources.
• Utilize analytic tools such as Salesforce to plan, evaluate and optimize outreach activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related health/social services field (preferred).
• Minimum two years of experience in sales and/or marketing.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel frequently within the community.
• Ability to work independently and represent the facility in professional forums.
