Business Systems Analyst

About the role

The Business Systems Analyst will support Popular's digital banking transformation, working with cross‑functional teams across Sales, Service, Operations and Marketing to drive revenue growth and capability expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate products and services from providers to build a robust ecosystem for business and corporate clients.
• Conduct research, analysis and data gathering to create detailed Business Requirements, define KPIs and measure solution success.
• Maintain knowledge of client‑facing applications such as Online Banking, File Services, Payments and Receivables.
• Support the Product Manager on strategic and tactical initiatives, compliance, legal and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in new product evaluation, cross‑sell opportunities, business case definition and project scope management.
• Provide analytical support on sales, revenue, pricing and competitive analysis to enable profitable growth.
• Manage application attestations, certification processes and client issue escalations.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing, define use cases, test plans and track remediation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in Cash Management, Data/Analytics, Product Management or Operations within a financial institution.
• Strong business acumen, analytical thinking and excellent communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize multiple initiatives and work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.
• Experience with data analytics, data visualization tools and data mining/cleansing techniques.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, data modeling and data architecture.
