Cashier – Part-Time Retail Position

About the role

Front End Checkout associates run our registers. They smile, greet and thank customers, ring up items, process payments, and keep a positive attitude. The role may require standing for long periods of time.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and process customer payments.
• Greet, thank and assist customers with inquiries.
• Accurately scan and bag merchandise.
• Handle cash, credit, and other transaction types securely.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

Required profile

• Friendly and customer‑service oriented attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Required skills

• Cash handling.
• Operation of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
