Category/Sourcing Advisor

About the role

The Category and Sourcing Advisor will lead strategic procurement activities across assigned categories, partnering with business units to understand needs and driving competitive sourcing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units to assess needs, conduct market research, and negotiate optimal sourcing outcomes.
• Develop and manage RFx processes, evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiate contracts.
• Monitor vendor performance, set category goals, and drive continuous‑improvement metrics.
• Lead new‑supplier projects, resolve implementation issues, and ensure compliance with contractual KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, marketing, accounting, industrial engineering or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in vendor negotiations, sourcing, procurement, banking or contract management.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and planning skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Ariba or a comparable procurement platform (preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams.
