Commodity Planning & Procurement Manager

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a results‑driven Commodity Planning & Procurement Manager to lead component planning for networking semiconductor and memory products. The role ensures supply continuity, optimizes inventory, and drives cost‑effective procurement in a fast‑paced, high‑complexity environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead fulfillment strategies across suppliers, distributors, ODM/CM partners and internal teams, developing and executing procurement plans.
• Drive inventory management, improve turns, and resolve shortages with urgency.
• Conduct co‑planning/CPFR activities, enhance reporting tools and maintain performance dashboards.
• Own component forecasting and supply health metrics, identifying risks and executing mitigation strategies.
• Manage procurement execution including purchase orders, lead‑time tracking and supplier commitments.
• Provide supply reporting, dashboards, shortage summaries and executive updates.

Required profile

• 7+ years in semiconductor supply chain, commodity management, demand/supply planning or procurement.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor commodities such as silicon, wireless, FPGA, CPU and memory.
• Experience in high‑tech hardware environments, preferably networking or server manufacturing.
• Strong analytical abilities with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas, dashboards).
• Power BI or Tableau for reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
