Commodity Planning & Procurement Manager – Supply Planning

About the role

Join Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Commodity Planning & Procurement Manager, focusing on supply planning for networking semiconductor and memory products. You will own component supply health, drive forecasting, procurement, and risk mitigation to ensure uninterrupted production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead fulfillment strategies across suppliers, distributors, 3PLs, ODM/CM partners and internal teams.
• Drive inventory management, improve turns, and resolve shortages with urgency.
• Conduct co‑planning/CPFR activities, enhance reporting tools and dashboards.
• Own component forecasting, supply health metrics and proactive risk mitigation.
• Coordinate shortage resolution with suppliers, procurement, engineering and operations.
• Manage procurement execution, including purchase orders, lead‑time tracking and supplier commitments.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and drive strategic actions.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of semiconductor commodities (silicon, wireless, FPGA, CPU, memory) and their supply chains.
• 7+ years experience in semiconductor supply chain, commodity management, demand/supply planning or procurement.
• Experience in networking, server or hardware manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas, dashboards).
• Power BI or Tableau reporting tools.
• ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Material management, demand planning and direct procurement processes.
