Cost Accounting Manager

About the role

The Cost Accounting Manager will provide financial and accounting support for the ADx Business in Cayey, driving accurate product costing and manufacturing performance reporting. This role partners with finance and operations leaders to achieve financial objectives and implement effective operational strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, reporting, and analysis of standard product costing, manufacturing variances, and inventory components.
• Develop and maintain standard costs, calculate appropriate reserves, and ensure accurate manufacturing performance reporting.
• Coordinate annual budget preparation and forecasting, and partner with manufacturing facilitators to optimize finance‑related operational decisions.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and Waters financial policies, and support internal and external audits.
• Provide financial analysis and advice for capital projects and inventory cycle counts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA, CPA/CMA preferred).
• 5+ years of cost accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing environment, including product costing, variance analysis, COGS, CAPEX, budgeting and forecasting.
• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Strong cost accounting experience with SAP and BPC systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Plant Dashboard reporting and commentary.
