Field Deployment Engineer, Counter-UAS (LATAM)

About the role

Axon is looking for a Field Deployment Engineer to lead end‑to‑end deployments of its Counter‑UAS solution across Latin America. The role combines technical implementation, customer training, and ongoing support while traveling extensively throughout the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deployments from pre‑sale planning through go‑live, handling hardware logistics, stakeholder alignment and on‑site support.
• Deliver role‑based training to public‑safety operators, command staff and IT teams, adapting content for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Guide customers in creating operational policies that integrate Dedrone systems with Axon Evidence, body‑worn cameras and in‑car video.
• Coordinate third‑party vendors, conduct site assessments, and produce deployment documentation, SOPs and training plans.
• Provide post‑deployment monitoring, issue escalation and capture feature requests for product teams.
• Support RFP/RFI responses, draft or validate Statements of Work and assist in proof‑of‑concepts.

Required profile

• 3+ years in customer‑facing technical roles such as professional services, field engineering or sales engineering.
• Experience deploying hardware/software solutions in complex operational environments, preferably with public‑safety agencies.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills, able to own a deployment from kickoff to success.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time and perform physical tasks such as lifting 50 lb and climbing ladders.
