Finance and Grants Management Officer

About the role

NeoMed Center is seeking a Finance and Grants Management Officer to support financial, accounting, and compliance processes for grants, federal, state, and private funds, as well as construction and capital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting and financial management of grants, donations, contracts, and institutional funds.
• Perform reconciliations, prepare adjustments, and ensure accurate monthly closings and regulatory compliance.
• Use Sage 100 or other ERP for record‑keeping, analysis, account maintenance, and reporting.
• Review, code, and reconcile invoices, payments, and documentation related to funds and special projects.
• Monitor financial and administrative compliance of grants and post‑award contracts.
• Support financial management of construction and capital projects, including budgets, disbursements, and closings.
• Prepare financial reports, variance analysis, and management reports.
• Assist with audits, regulatory reports, and financial projections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in accounting, fund management, grants, reconciliations, financial reporting, auditing or financial analysis.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (oral and written).
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Sage 100 or similar financial ERP systems.
