Global Category Manager – Application‑Specific Integrated Circuits

About the role

HPE is seeking a Global Category Manager for Application‑Specific Integrated Circuits. This hybrid position requires you to work on average two days per week from an HPE office in San Juan.

Key responsibilities

• Execute worldwide commodity and category strategies, aligning procurement with engineering, manufacturing, and business units.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, monitor key metrics, and mitigate supply‑chain risks.
• Develop and execute strategic plans across geographies, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Required profile

• Advanced subject‑matter expertise in procurement or supply‑chain functions, with 6‑10 years of experience.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects, mentor lower‑level contributors, and represent the organization externally.

Required skills

• Mastery of English and the local language.
• Deep understanding of procurement processes and corporate compliance.
• Strong analytical, technical, and project‑management capabilities.
