Global Category Manager – Memory/SSSD

About the role

This hybrid position (average 2 days per week onsite) is responsible for executing global commodity and category strategies for Memory/SSSD at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement strategies, policies and tactics worldwide to meet business objectives.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with engineering, manufacturing, strategic procurement and business units to maintain inventory levels and ensure supply assurance.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to develop and improve processes, programs and solutions.
• Monitor and analyze program performance, key metrics and process‑oriented tasks, driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• First‑level university degree (advanced degree preferred) with 6‑10 years of procurement or supply‑chain experience, preferably global.
• Strong analytical, technical and business application skills.
• Excellent communication and project‑management abilities.
• Ability to provide mentorship and guidance to lower‑level contributors.

Required skills

• Mastery of English (and local language).
• Deep understanding of procurement processes and corporate compliance.
• Advanced analytical aptitude and project‑management expertise.
