Global Commodity Manager – Packaging

About the role

The Global Commodity Manager – Packaging will lead worldwide sourcing strategies for packaging commodities, ensuring alignment with HPE Networking technology roadmaps and sustainability goals. This hybrid role requires on‑site presence at the Aguadilla office two days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, driving supplier excellence in quality, cost, agility and time‑to‑market.
• Align suppliers with HPE networking technology requirements and sustainable packaging regulations.
• Negotiate NDAs, Master Purchase Agreements, Statements of Work and Joint Development Agreements.
• Scorecard suppliers, lead business reviews and identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate with Juniper Commodity SMEs and cross‑functional teams to support global sourcing.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in global commodity management, preferably in packaging or mechanical commodities.
• Strong program‑management, leadership and influencing skills.
• Experience with CEM, ODM and JDM manufacturing models.
• Excellent English communication skills and willingness to travel 15‑20%.
