Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

About the role

Join Medplus Solutions as a Human Resources Business Partner, driving strategic people initiatives and operational excellence across Puerto Rico and Colombia. You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, oversee key HR functions, and champion a high‑performing workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational goals and improve performance.
• Lead complex employee‑relations matters, investigations and ensure compliance with Puerto Rico employment laws.
• Oversee HR Operations, Talent Acquisition and core people processes to deliver a consistent employee experience.
• Coach leaders on talent management, performance conversations, succession planning and organizational change.
• Collaborate with Organizational Development and People Analytics to turn workforce insights into actionable strategies.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives that strengthen HR processes, compliance and employee engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience in strategic roles, including leadership of HR teams.
• Proven success in employee relations, HR operations and compliance, especially with Puerto Rico employment laws.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong business acumen and judgment.
• Experience mentoring or supervising HR professionals.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ADP Workforce Now and Bizneo HRIS.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Ability to create internal communications and presentations using Canva.
• Practical use of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or Gemini for productivity and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
