Human Resources Generalist

About the role

Quality Consulting Group is seeking a motivated Human Resources Generalist to support its manufacturing operations in Puerto Rico and the United States. The role will work closely with HR and operational teams to ensure smooth personnel administration and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain employee personnel files, HR records and related documentation in a confidential and organized manner.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, screening, interview scheduling and communication with candidates.
• Manage new‑hire onboarding, orientation, benefits enrollment and required employment documentation.
• Process employee status changes, transfers, promotions, compensation adjustments and separations.
• Maintain attendance, leave, vacation and sick‑leave records and liaise with payroll.
• Assist employees with routine HR questions and support managers on performance evaluations, disciplinary documentation and investigations.
• Prepare HR reports and metrics such as headcount, turnover, absenteeism and recruiting status.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, benefits and employee relations.
• Strong organizational, record‑keeping and communication abilities with a focus on confidentiality.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
