Insurance Service Technician

About the role

Join Triple‑S as an Insurance Service Technician and play a key part in delivering high‑quality, affordable healthcare to over one million consumers in Puerto Rico. You will conduct telephone interviews, verify prospect information, and support the insurance enrollment process while adhering to detailed procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Make and receive calls from insured prospects to conduct telephone interviews, collect personal and health information, and determine eligibility.
• Enter and manage prospect data using the Unity Form, OnBase, and LifePro systems, including scanning and uploading documents.
• Document call attempts, follow‑up actions, and interview notes, and report daily activity to the supervisor.
• Assist agents and regional offices via email, phone, or in person with pending requests, and coordinate with the Marketing Department on bi‑weekly reports of pending agency requirements.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree (or 60‑64 college credits) with 6 months to 1 year of data‑entry and customer‑service experience, or 1‑3 years in similar functions.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures under direct supervision and handle public contact.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet performance metrics such as call handling time.
