Janitorial Cleaner – Bayamón

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to keep ABM’s Bayamón facilities clean, safe, and orderly. The position is ideal for individuals entering or returning to the workforce and offers a supportive environment for growth.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and maintain hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste according to company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Required skills

• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and proper usage.
• Proficiency in operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and polishers.
• Understanding of safety standards related to sanitation and chemical handling.
