Java/Spring Boot Software Engineer

About the role

HPE Operations is looking for a mid‑level Java/Spring Boot Engineer to design, develop, test and support critical enterprise applications and microservices. The position is onsite at the HPE office and will contribute to cybersecurity, modernization and Kubernetes initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java applications and microservices using Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Data JPA.
• Create RESTful APIs, write unit and integration tests with JUnit 5 and Mockito, and manage database schema migrations.
• Containerize services with Docker, support CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub, and participate in code reviews.
• Address security findings, remediate CVEs, and improve code quality via SonarQube.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Infrastructure and Product teams for reliable delivery and production support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3‑5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and Agile teamwork skills.
