Maintenance Engineer – Resort

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer provides service and repairs to hotel equipment, ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with Four Seasons policies. The role involves a mix of preventative maintenance, emergency response, and support for renovation projects within a luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide service and repairs to hotel equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior painting and decorating.
• Perform preventative maintenance, update logs, and respond to guest calls and emergency conditions such as fires or power failures.
• Clean engineering stations, grease traps, and maintain an organized department.
• Install, relocate, or assist with electrical and mechanical systems for renovations, energy‑conservation programs, and exhibit setups.

Required profile

• High school diploma; college education is a plus.
• 3 months to 1 year of experience in building or hotel maintenance.
• Working technical knowledge of general building systems and ability to operate computer equipment.
• Proficiency in reading, speaking and writing English.
