Manager, Inventory Operations & Control

About the role

As an Inventory Manager you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end management, control and optimisation of inventory across the organisation, covering handsets, SIM cards, accessories and network equipment. The role ensures inventory accuracy, availability and financial integrity through strong controls, robust system ownership and executive‑level reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee inventory levels for handsets, SIM cards, accessories and network gear, establishing policies, thresholds and replenishment guidelines.
• Design, implement and maintain inventory control frameworks, including cycle counts, physical inventories and anti‑fraud measures.
• Own and manage inventory modules within WMS and ERP systems, ensuring data integrity and driving system enhancements.
• Develop executive dashboards and reports on key KPIs such as turnover, aging and Days of Inventory.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, IT and Operations to align inventory strategy with business needs.
• Lead, coach and develop the inventory and operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of inventory management or supply‑chain experience, preferably in telecommunications or technology.
• Minimum of 3 years of people‑management experience.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong understanding of regulated, serialized assets such as handsets and SIM cards.

Required skills

• ERP systems (experience managing inventory modules).
• WMS platforms (experience with serialized or high‑value assets).
