NPI Senior Program Manager - Hybrid Cloud & Storage

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an NPI Senior Program Manager for Hybrid Cloud and Storage Platforms in Operations, based in Aguadilla. The role is hybrid, with about two days per week spent in an HPE office. The manager leads the NPI introduction and sustaining support of these platforms, runs strategic projects and initiatives to improve or implement new processes, and works with engineering management to improve process and program efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a program across multiple functions and project teams that drives the engineering development and implementation of a product or service.
• Develop and direct schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation and other support requirements for the program.
• Manage supporting project teams and internal development partners, adjusting schedules and resources to meet product requirements.
• Communicate progress, escalations and issue analysis to product stakeholders and recommend changes to product, processes or business practices.
• Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into manufacturing and engineering projects.
• Mentor less experienced staff and exercise significant independent judgment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Typically 6-10 years of experience as a Program Manager.
• Experience with AI strategy and AI implementations; a strong background in AI tools and AI project implementation is desired.
• Extensive experience with project and program planning tools and software, and with stakeholder communication and matrixed teams.
• PMP/PMI certification preferred; PMP or Six Sigma is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and the local language.
